British drama series set in the 1930s, centering on the eccentric veterinarian Siegfried Farnon and his colleagues, James Herriot, and Tristan, Siegried's younger brother. Working out of the stunning Skeldale House in the Yorkshire Dales , the trio of companions endeavour themselves to the surrounding community by providing a valuable service to the region's animals.
