In Washington, a Lagotto Romagnolo is unearthing a rare delicacy in the forests - a job once done by pigs. In South Africa, a pair of Belgian Malinois - are tracking down the critically endangered Geometric Tortoise in an urgent mission to save the species. Whilst in the waters off Washington State, an Australian Cattle dog - is using his scenting skills to find orca scat in the ocean to help scientists understand why the resident pods are on the verge of extinction.
