Former successful solicitor Jane Kennedy left her hometown of Lighthaven on the south coast of England when she was a teenager. Now she is a mother of a 15-year-old daughter herself and is returning to Lighthaven to take on the role of coroner for the South Hams region of South Devon. She investigates a whole manner of mysterious, sudden, and unexplained deaths. A job which requires her to work closely with Detective Sergeant Davey Higgins - the childhood sweetheart who broke her heart all those years ago. Director: Adrian Bean.
