From traditional and classical music to avant-garde, jazz, and rock, the festival program also features art, such as visual arts, dance, and theatre of interdisciplinary projects. This episode entitled A Trace Of Grace features the rich and complex music of Michel Godard and Kayhan Kalhor, two musicians interested in instruments poorly known in the West. Kayhan plays, for example, the Kamancheh, an ancient Persian instrument known for its slow and melancho sound.
