Annual trade fair, exhibition, and festival jazzahead! is one of the international jazz community's most important events. Hosted in Bremen, Germany, jazzahead! brings together musicians, bookers, agents, organizers, jazz experts, and music enthusiasts. Due to COVID-19, only half of the scheduled performances of the 2021 edition were actually recorded in Bremen. Among the performing bands is The Great Harry Hillmann, a quartet that for the occasion joins forces with the Trio Edi Nulz. The result is a seven-piece ensemble, named The True Harry Nulz. Its members are Nils Fischer and Siegmar Brecher (bass clarinets), David Koch and Julian Adam Pajzs (guitars), Dominik Mahnig and Valentin Schuster (drums), and Samuel Huwyler (bass guitar). They perform clever arrangements that exploit unison stereo effects and offer room for outbursts of creative improvisation: this is Austro-Helvetia-Power at its finest!
