Join our host, professor of paleontology Paul Sereno, as he travels to the Sahara in search of 100 million-year-old relics from the era that saw crocciles and dionsaurs live, and die, side by side. The recent discovery of five distinct crocodile fossils (nicknamed BoarCroc, RatCroc, Pancake Croc, DuckCroc and DogCroc) prove that they were, indeed, fearsome behemoths who could take on all-comers. Able to hunt prey in the water and pursue it on land, these creatures were dinosurs' worst nightmare. This documentary uses art, forensics and biology to bring to life the forgotten world of the Cretaceous crocs! (2009)
