This three-part docu-series takes a look at some of Botswana's most iconic and fascinating wildlife as they strive to survive and rasie their families. Each episode uses spectacular footage to focus on a particular aspect of the creatures' struggle for life. One of the main driving forces in animal behaviour is the desire to procreate and ensure the continuity of the species and this is evident in the battles that males participate in for the right to mate with females. However, parenting skills can vary enormously with some animals being prepared to give up their own lives for their offspring while others are revealed to pose the greatest threat. The show also examines how the animals impact on the landscape by building paths and constructing homes. Director: Lucy Meadows (2018)
