Episodes include joining a scientific exploration of the 277 mile long Grand Canyon, studying its geological history, exploring the microscopic colonies of vegetation and examining its unique creatures; journeying through the Everglades, a 1.5 million acre home to strange creatures, carnivorous plants, amphibious birds and fish that can breathe air; and navigating across the northwest archipelago of Hawaii following a team of diving scientists as they inspect the unique aquaeous flora and fauna.
